Brewer’s Blog, Brewmaster’s Shadow Gail Brooks, 07152015:   A new brew for YOU........ Brewmaster Charles Kling, is mixing up the first production batch of a Märzen/Octoberfest beer.  Märzen style beer is full-bodied, rich, toasty, typically dark copper in color with a medium to high alcohol content.  Our new beers begin as very small batches brewed in the brew master’s test kitchen.  Very few beers make it to the first production batch.  If it up scales well, this new beer will complement our fall seasonal line-up and could be a featured beer at our Bleu and Brew Festival.  That’s not a typo, “Bleu” is for cheese.  It’s a beer and cheese festival.  Mark your calendar for 19 September 2015.
