Brewer's Blog
Brewer’s Blog, Brewmaster’s Shadow Gail Brooks, 07282015: The session IPA announced in Brewer’s Blog 07152015 (Jul 15) has been named “Quickfix” and will be released this Thursday (30 Jul) in the Taproom. The name “Quickfix” has double meaning: Historically, the name pays tribute to the EH-60A Quick Fix tactical, heliborne intercept and electronic countermeasures system developed at Vint Hill Farm Station by the US Army Signals Warfare Center in the mid 80’s. The EH-60A provided tactical commanders with a highly mobile signals intercept and electronic jamming capability. For non-historians, the name represents a great way to quickly satisfy the cravings for an IPA without the high alcohol by volume.
